This small English speaking country nestled between Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras, offers some of the finest fly fishing for bonefish, permit and tarpon in the world.

The best permit fishing is found in Southern Belize off the coast of beautiful Placencia. This area is known as the "Permit Capital of Belize". Actually, the area is a heaven for tarpon, snook, barracuda, snappers, tuna and jacks as well. The average permit weighs 10 pounds and trophy sized permit in the 30-pound range very common but extremely hard to land.

Your trip will begin at Belize City; from there you will fly intra-country air to Dangriga. From there you will take a water taxi to a small island where we will be staying the entire trip. The opportunities are endless; large tarpon, excellent bonefishing and permit fishing on miles and miles of flats. We will be staying in a very comfortable small lodge right on the reef.  Our guides will be staying at the lodge with us, after breakfast, we just walk out to the boat and you are off for a full day of flats or lagoon fishing. We will spend eight days exploring the many lagoons, cayes and flats for tarpon, bonefish and permit, not to mention the excellent fishing for jacks, snapper and barracuda. If weather permits, a trip offshore will yield black fin tuna, skipjack and big jacks!
